My Approach
Care, Curiosity & Presence
I offer a depth-oriented approach grounded in Jungian psychology, somatic awareness, and meaning-centered work. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, depth therapy asks what your symptoms, patterns, emotions, and recurring struggles may be communicating. Often, they are signals that something deeper within the psyche is asking for attention.
Our work together explores the layers beneath ordinary awareness: identity, unconscious patterns, inner conflicts, symbolism, and the parts of yourself that may have been neglected, hidden, or pushed aside in the effort to survive. We pay attention not only to thoughts, but also to the wisdom of the body, imagination, dreams, relationships, and emotional experience. The goal is not to "fix" you into a more acceptable version of yourself, but to help you move toward a more authentic and integrated way of being. Depth work tends to create change not through quick solutions, but through deeper transformation at the level of the personality, identity, and relationship to self.
I try to be the therapist that I would like. Able to sit with deep griefs and trauma, authentic, funny, and sometimes irreverent. I don't even fit the mold of other depth psychotherapists who all seem to cultivate this whispery voice while holding artisanal tea. That is not me. I'm more of a dirt-under-my-fingernails Jungian — full of contradiction, able to straddle the regular world and the symbolic, the academic and the folk, respectful and profane, all at once.
"Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us."

Depth-Oriented
Rather than surface-level coping, we explore the deeper patterns and meanings shaping your inner world — at a pace that honors your readiness.
Collaborative & Present
I work alongside you with care, curiosity, and genuine presence. You are the expert on your own life; I provide the compass.
Somatic & Embodied
The body holds our story. Somatic awareness helps us tune into physical imprints of experience, opening new pathways for healing.
Strengths-Based
We build on the resilience, wisdom, and inner resources you already possess — often grown quietly through what you've endured.
